About me
My name is Garry (BSc. Hons) and I have been working in the environmental sector since 2009. From a young age I was inspired by nature documentaries, and figures such as Sir David Attenborough and Dr Jane Goodall, detailing the wonder of the natural world and highlighting the important scientific research being undertaken around the globe. Throughout my studies I was further inspired by innovative researchers such as E.O. Wilson who revolutionised the global understanding of biodiversity and ecology, and local researchers within Western Australia who have dedicated their lives saving iconic threatened species.
I wanted to blog my journey on reducing my own environmental impact in the hope to inspire others, spread awareness of environmental issues facing our planet and to highlight some of the amazing species we have here right on our door step in Western Australia.
Please note, the posts and opinions on this page are my personal views and do not represent those of any organisation or research institute that I may be affiliated with.
